A nationwide survey within Russia have shown about 28% of the Russian citizens have heard about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. The survey also shows that just 1% of the Russian Citizens invested in Bitcoin or an other cryptocurrency. This tells us there is much to win in Russia.
The National Agency for Financial Studies (NAFI) published this week a study, about the awareness of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies among the Russian citizens. 1,600 Russians have taken the survey. They were 18 years or older and the survey was held at 140 sampling locations, amond 42 regions within the country.
The NAFI came to the conclusion that The Russians are not well informed about what a cryptocurrency is. NAFI concluded only 28% have heard about them while 72% heard of cryptocurrency for the first time during the interview. 
Only 1% of the Russians have ever used a crytocurrency, concluded NAFI. This shows again we are in a very early growing market with a very huge growing potential.
