This morning, I just wanted to research some low cap crypto and this one caught my attention due to its Market cap and volume.
I went on researching, idea looked okay, and when I moved on to the team, it was Massive! Hmm, impressive!
Boom! one name looked familiar.
Name: Jorge Rodriguez
Position: Chief Security Officer
Cool! I went on to check the above named gentleman's linkedIn and discovered he is already one of my connections. No wonder why the name looked familiar!
I further moved on to check the gentleman's experiences
Holy mother of the universe!!!!! Working for over 10 projects?!!!! Thats a massive red flag there.
Well, I again thought as he is listing himself as a security advisor, maybe he offers some basic security advices to crypto projects, fair enough!
Well I went back to the list and searched Peculium.
BOOM! He is just a security advisor to Peculium. Well, one of the 10 projects he offers security advices for.
I went back to the Peculium website and checked again.
WHATTT???!!! Chief Security Officer? Are you kidding me??!!
Do these people at Peculium even understand the importance of security to a crypto project? Especially to a project like Peculium which aims to be a saving account of crypto investors.
Find someone random on linkedIn, ask them to be an advisor, give some useless tokens, and list them as a Chief Security Officer? What the f*uck is going on?!
I couldn't waste any further time on this shitty project which is being run by deceitful pricks! I am still left surprised by the volume. How the hell can so many people be so stupid?
I am certain that 90% of the other hanging photos (team members) are just useless photos. Couldn't bother researching more. Morning shows the day....
So, Lessons for the day:
To investors:
- Do not always be fooled by volume. People make mistakes.
- Do PROPER research!
- A tiny smell of fraud, AVOID!!!! No further speculations!! Many good projects out there.
To ICOs/Projects:
- Why the hell on earth would you try to provide false information? It will be revealed sooner or later. So, be honest with investors.
- More no. of photos mean nothing. Think about what value they can bring to your project.
