Hindsight is always 20/20 even in the crypto space!
Following up on the opposite end of the spectrum from my post taking a vote on the best crypto currency move you have made with this one. What is the biggest fail you have had in the crypto space? I know getting started I made quite a few and they covered different areas.
Some of my mistakes included things like:
- Overtrading and losing money on transaction fees.
- Getting hasty and not holding coins and instead trading a portion of a coin to buy another only to have the first coin go up in price.
- And my biggest fail, not getting into bitcoin and other crypto currencies when I heard about them a long time ago!
At least we can all learn together!
The main goal of this post isn't to shame or put down but rather to look back and learn as a community through mistakes of others and maybe even to laugh a bit at some of the things we have done. Also if you haven't put your biggest triumph on the other post head over and post it here.
Thanks again for reading and your comments, upvotes and follows!

Selling my 15 ETH (which I purchased for around $8) when the price reached $25. Best lesson to come from that was something Chris Dunn said "Scaling out gradually takes some of the pressure out of needing to be right."
Oh that is a good one, it has taken me quite some time to just hold what I have long term so I've sold some Litecoin in the past for around 27 and then it jumped up to 47...so yea I feel that pain there. Thank you for posting and I followed!
Bought WINGS when it was nearly at ATH because I thought it was launching off... Then spent more in tx fee's than I actually got back in rewards for voting on Bancor ICO, haha 😡 Of course, this last sentence only makes sence if you know what WINGS is. Worth looking into.
I used to go back and forth on currencies a lot and spent a lot of tx fees too but that is rough having the fees outweigh the rewards. I've seen WINGS on coinmarketcap but will check more into it now. Thanks for the post!
Selling early. You have to develop a robust bubble meter for yourselves.
It's so easy to get carried away when you see that value rising and you're worried if the price will get that high again. Thanks for the post and I sent a follow your way as well!
