Guess what, they have. This is why we shouldn't have economic policy by central decree instead of finding genuine consensus among stakeholders.

Some of them wanted $100 transaction fees for normal 1 input 2 output transactions.

This is why we need to convince everybody to abandon Bitcoin and start using Steem.

I don't think we even need to, except to get people using Steemit.com

Regular users of Steemit will eventually use the currency, and once they do they'll wonder why they ever wasted time waiting for Bitcoin confirmations.

This is why my opinion shifted from pro-segwit to pro-Bitcoin-Unlimited.

Core dev process is very slow. If there are no other competition coming out, they maybe still sleep.
