After what seems like an extraordinarily long drought (although it really hasn't been that long!), here's something we haven't seen in a while:

As of a few minutes ago, BTC has just made it back above $10,000!
Seems like it has been forever, but it has actually just been since September 22nd, 2019.
So now the question becomes whether it will continue? And beyond that, will the alt coins — including Steem — actually follow and keep following?
What do YOU think? Are we due for a period of steady price increases in the crypto markets? Or is this just a "tease?"

I believe we will start to see an upward trend. I also believe it’s going to be very choppy — the upward trend will inspire investment, so people will jump in, but every time it takes a significant dip there will be some panic. Even so, I think the upward trend will prevail!
That's pretty much in alignment with what I have been thinking @jayna, I think enough people got seriously burned by the late 2017 runup that there will be a lot who bail out every time a gain... so it'll be pretty choppy.
A runup would be risky if it happen again. So I’m hereby putting in a vote (ha ha) for that choppy but upward trending line. That will build confidence that it’s not a fluke.
I just Hodl, so even though I watch it a lot, I make no moves. I did however just begin the process of building a ROTH to house them in for tax free (trading if desired) but more importantly distributions later.
