RE: Bitcoin’s Present Bubble Might Actually be the Beginning of Mainstream Adoption

in #bitcoin7 years ago

There is always evidence that bitcoin is in a bubble, but the fact that the rise is rapid isn't the only indication that a bubble is apparent. Alongside the rise, more and more people have been entering the cryptoworld. I can state with confidence that 2017 marked the largest increase in terms of people using, trading and adopting cryptocuurency.

What's left now is for more companies to start utilizing bitcoin, and some of the other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment.

I think the time to realistically call BTC a bubble is loooong past. True, it's still not close to mainstream adoption, but when mega corporations like Starbucks begin accepting it (https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@doitvoluntarily/pay-for-your-starbucks-with-bitcoin), and a handful of other big boys like Shopify, it's definitely more on the cusp of mainstream adoption.

@destinysaid - basically, couldn't agree more with what you are saying :) > in a nutshell, there's a long way to go, but we've already come so far that this "bubble" may shrink in the short term with pullbacks like we saw last month, but it DEFINITELY won't pop...long term it will only grow!!

@contentjunkie - upvoted, followed and resteemed :D

Growth is the only way I see this mate!

I'm going in and forgetting about it, when its on a value that is suitable for me, I'll pull out.
