The problem is that most of us did not sell to put money aside. So we cannot buy at the bottom of this correction. What is the way to see that the market is reaching a top and thus sell some to get money for corrections or crashes?

No one knows the exact bottom. Haejin recommended price target buy range. Use laddering technique to spread your buy rungs within range.
