HTC has just announced the new, unique phone HTC Exodus. What's special about him? Taiwanese manufacturer claims that it will be the first smartphone designed for blockchain technology.
I know, I know. I'm also sometimes afraid that when I open the fridge, it turns out that it works on blockchain and copies of bitcoin, and the intelligent assistant will tell me that it really must be the last piece of chocolate. The worst thing is that vegetables, machine-learning in which direction I reach, will themselves roll to the corners, just to avoid the plate.
What distinguishes HTC Exodus?
An exciting novelty in the Exodus is its readiness for the challenges of development and the increasing use of blockchain technology. The phone will be immediately switched on in the ethercharger and bitcoin blockchain, and will also support Dfinity and Lightning Network. The company, however, has a snore for more and wants to create a self-blockchain of all Exodus phones in the future. The smartphone will have a wallet installed immediately for storing cryptocurrency.
According to the creators, the phone was created for all those who particularly value the increasingly difficult to achieve privacy. By cutting off data storage in the clouds, Exodus is designed to allow users greater independence from technological giants.
Exodus does not participate in a normal race and offers a conversation on a different level.
Instead of pictures or renderings showing how the phone will look, the Exodus interior sketches are shown. We do not know anything about its appearance or specification yet. There is no information about the number of cameras, screen size, notch or notch, frame thickness or anything you would expect from a normal phone presentation. This is a refreshing experience in some twisted way. Although, above all, intriguing, and I do not doubt that the interest was primarily to arouse HTC, showing its design in such a way.
HTC Exodus
On the one hand, HTC fits in the hottest trend of the season, on the other it comes out of the standard smartphone race and proposes something completely different. It puts accents differently, whispers other sweet promises. It is a bold and original move, and even if it deserves to be honored by Taiwanese people. Then the time will come to judge if this courage has paid off.
For now, the price of the phone is not known, but the company suggests that you will be able to pay it in cryptocurrencies.
