In a rather slick PR stunt, a Turkish amateur soccer club called Harunustaspor, announced they finished the first of its kind ever transfer for a 22 year old player called Omer Faruk Kiroglu. The total amount of money involved is not spectacular, around 6-700 EUR, a little bit over half of it being in Bitcoin.
As I said, it's not really a transaction, as it is a PR stunt:
Club chairman Haldun Sehit declared that the move was the first of its kind by a sports club in Turkey and worldwide. “We did it to make a name for ourselves in the country and the world... We are proud of this,” he was quoted as saying.

I saw how bitcoin is also being used now to purchase houses , pretty neat
I suppose it's kind of cool in the sense that it gets added to the long list of "world firsts." A lot of trends happen because people lead by example. It may not look like much... but it opens a doorway to others to think "Hey, WE could do that!" and before you know it, you have a trend...

Assuming that he doesn't get hurt it will either be worth a very large amount or a very small ammount.
I think it's an inevitable trend, I know several people in my work environment who work with this currency and, perhaps, it will be a matter of a short time before they start making commercial agreements with this currency; perhaps, minor agreements, but in the end they are transactions. It's a matter of time ... I'm not an expert on the subject, but it's my perception. Greetings.
