The World of Cryptocurrency - Satoshi Nakamoto

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Bitcoin was written in 2007 and it didn't come out till 2009 and we still don't know who the developer or developers are behind it. In 2008, the white papers were released and published under the title of "Bitcoin a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System", by a programmer or a group of programmers calling themselves as Satoshi Nakamoto.

On January 3, 2009, the first block was mined and six days after that Satoshi released the first update towards the blockchain system. He also created the Bitcoin.com website along with some other developers and in Bitcointalk.org he's listed permanently as the founder of Bitcoin. It's kind of interesting because Satoshi for years has been working with other people online communicating on forums, emailing and still no one has any real clues as to who he, she, they or where they're based from.

After two years of collaborating with Gavin Andersen, Satoshi decided to hand over the project to him. He showed up once again on April 23, 2011, when he sent an email to a software developer Mike herd. He basically said in the email that he's moved on to other things that are better and we're not sure whether it was a business or whatever it is. The project now is with Gavin, he worked on it from 2010-2014 like he did work before with Satoshi and started a Bitcoin foundation which basically raised capital funds for the cryptocurrency projects. From then on, nobody knows exactly what Satoshi has done or is up to. He allegedly was born on April 5, 1975 and some people suspect that he is Japanese and some don't believe it because for some strange reason - he writes so good in english but I don't think it's substantial evidence.

We're going to look at the other part which is his name. If we're going to dissect his name and translate it from Japanese into English. "Satoshi" stands for quick, witted or wise; "Naka" means inside and "Moto" means foundation. If we put it together it's actually quite symbolic - "Quick-witted Inside a Foundation" but there's also another translation: "Satoshi" which means born from the ashes and "Nakamoto" which means central origin. Basically, it means "Born from the Ashes of Centralization". Of course, these are just guesses as to whether who really Satoshi Nakamoto is.

Some people were claiming or pointed out that he is Satoshi and the known candidates are Charlie Lee, Hal Finney and Dorian Nakamoto but there's no enough proof that they were the man. The mystery is still unsolved until today and many were wondering why he doesn't want to reveal himself - he could probably be a billionaire.

@cleverbot it is one of the legends of Bitcoin :)

He would get hunted down by governments if he didn't remain anonymous

Yup, i do agree with that. He just simply strip down the income of banking system worldwide. 😅

yea, but right now bitcoin is legal in japan

Maybe this will extend worldwide 😄

i hope soo but now bitcoin is getting low on value but bch is raising

Yup; he basically took the power of creating money from the govt and into the hands of the ordinary man and woman!

i saw your link on buildawhale :P 25 SBD :O woaahh :)
Btw thats really informative post i didnt knew that first block was mined in 3 jan 2009 hmm :)

Lol 🤣
You also sendin to buildawhale?

hahah yeah :D its cool :)

😊 yup thats nice 😄

any ho know about Bitcoin then he if did not know about Mr Satoshi i think that is not justice he is one is the geniues create bitcoin.

Yup, satoshi who ever he is really a genius. He put the banking system into waste that why maybe he never reveal his identity for his safety

A true genius!

Personally I think that trying to figure out Satoshis identity goes against the whole point of bitcoin. It’s decentralized meaning no figurehead, purely the people’s coin, not even Satoshi himself can sway people on the next direction of the coin.

And yeah, he could be a billionaire with his %, but don’t you think that, as the first preminer of BTC he probably has quite a bit more than the other fraction of coins he has?

The norm of human always looking for the origin where it came from, who invented it, who have done it & etc. Bitcoin founder is not exempted to this matter and since its all about money then the first thing came to their mind is that who made bitcoin :)

Except in this case; it really serves no purpose to know the creator(s) of Bitcoins.

Thanks for this interesting story about bitcoin.
If he established bitcoin.com and other websites himself, couln't it be the clue? If somebody was really desperate to find him?

But until now theres no clue about him. I think this is for his safety also that he remains hidden.

Maybe, but a single guy couldn't have been running such a huge project :)

The guy is a true genius! I'd believe he single handedly created Bitcoins; otherwise there would they have disappeared right after Bitcoin took off. He be dead by now though.

:)👍🏻

nice work please follow now @technical.google

Satoshi is an alien AI that lives in the deep web and it uses .onion strings instead of brain synapses to think.

Lol, but many of us followed his work 🤣

ROTFLMAO !!!

I wonder if we will ever know who he was. One interesting tidbit is in the whitepaper he/she/them always referred to themself as "we" or "us". I think it was a group of people.

Also, how did you get that cool animation (Liked it?...) at the bottom of your post? I'd love to use it.

Lol, yoi can use it anytime in your posts. 😄

I don’t think we will ever know who is he, but I don’t think this even means anything. It is all about gains and the right option. I believe we should look at multiple options instead of just one. I love Bitcoin and Ethereum, but I also like to invest on upcoming ICOs, it’s where I feel Exsulcoin is the BEST. With the brilliant concept based upon refugees-led projects, it is really magnificent. Also, there is 66% discount that makes it even better! https://www.exsulcoin.com/

ICO is best to invest and so in steemit. Steemit is a long term investment whereas ICO is just a short term investment.

Great post

Thank you for this posting, which I have resteemed. I have even been inspired to add a few details of my own: the Chinese characters used to write his name: https://steemitstage.com/bitcoin/@wentong-syhhae/who-is-satoshi-nakamoto

I believe Satoshi was an individual person because of many lame reasons.
The point is who so ever he is, he's a Billionaire and the probable reason he wants to hide himself is that he knows the future of Bitcoin and knows how bitcoin could disrupt the whole financial system of the world.
There are many powerful people out there who could do anything to stop him.
And there are much more reasons for not reviling his identity but that's not the concern
WE HAVE HIS WORK WE ARE USING WE CAN TEST IT AND FURTHERMORE WE CAN ALSO EVOLVE IT/

Curious?
