There is a method based on historical timeframes in indices. There are very expensive programs, which can show you how long a wave 4 is likely to last if wave 2 lasted X hours for example.
I don't know how heajin does it and how accurate it is, but in my opinion time does not matter if you know the directon. Patience matters.

Time does not matter...unless you are using options....then it can matter a bit LOL
But I get your point, if you know where you are and have an idea of where things are going, it is much easier to scale in and hold for the impulse waves.
