Bitcoin needs to be a means to pay taxes, else Trump needs to spend even more taxpayers money (US is basically broke) to obtain more bitcoin.
Crypto is just a voting block for trump, no valuable ideal.
Sure it may just be transactional and all he wants is votes. Nothing wrong with that. That is what campaigning is about. I don't think these are empty promises though. I do believe he actually would implement the promises. They are complicated and actually good. Other politicians can do the same. They don't, because they don't think crypto voting block is big enough.
