In my previous post https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@firemonkey/11-out-of-top-12-bitcoin-miners-indicate-support-for-the-new-york-agreement-segwit2x I observed a 90% support for SegWit2x. In the last 12 hours however the support for SegWit2x has dropped below 80%. Miner F2Pool is the main reason for this. F2Pool represents about 10% of the total mining power and in the past 12 hours they have stopped signalling support for SegWit2x.
Currently F2Pool is the largest miner not signalling support for SegWit2x but I see some more:
Slush Pool
Kano CKPool
GBMiners
ConnectBTC
BitMinter
Bitcoin-India
YH ckpool
Waterhole
F2Pool has previously indicated that their support was contingent on SegWit2x being technologically mature (https://cointelegraph.com/news/f2pool-announces-support-for-segwit2x). Does this mean that their view on the technical state of SegWit2x has changed? If the support for SegWit2x drops below 80% it may not be implemented. I think that this would not be good for bitcoin in general. See https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@firemonkey/is-segwit2x-the-best-solution-for-bitcoin.
The people behind F2Pool probably have read the above post because immediately after I published the post F2Pool started signalling support for SegWit2x again.
