Portfolio Update: week 4 2018

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Well it was an interesting week with a small ups and lots of downs.

Overall

My portfolio has increased with 535 euros. But 326 euro are an extra investment. So a small profit of 209 euros.

New investments

Like told above, I did invest some fresh fiat money into my portfolio. People are always telling that you have to buy the dip, well I tried to do this.
I did strengthen my position in:

  • Kucoin Shares (twice):
First purchase on the 24th. On this day I did purchased 5,5 KCS @ 6.52 euro. Unfortunately this wasn't the bottom yet.
So on the 26th I did invest a large amount into KCS, with a purchase of 26,5 KCS at a almost bottom price.
This brings my total KCS just above 51. So let's go Kucoin.
  • Neblio:
I did invest also extra in Neblio. I only had 3.5 Neblios. So I did want to decrease my average book price and thought that Neblio was almost at the bottom (Wrong!). So I did buy an extra 5,49 Neblios. Halving my average book price, but not the bottom cause today I do already lost 23% on this investment. Still I do have a firm believe that 2018 could be a great year for Neblio.
  • Monetha:
Increase my Monetha holding with 100 pieces, increasing the total holdings to 393 MTHs. This one was a better decision than Neblio cause the new investment here has already increased by 13%.

Portfolio share

As you can see KCS and NEO are fighting for the number 1 spot. KCS had the number 1 spot on the last days but was overtaken by Neo in the final day. I don't expect this to change soon.

Next week

I do intend to invest new money into the cryptocurrency this week but you never know. All depends on the potential price drops of certain coins. But we also need to have a close eye on the Tether FUD or crash!
I still want to increase my holdings in Stratis, Neo, Elixir, Oyster and Neblio. I do feel that I am maturing. I have set up a price level for each of these coins. I will only extra invent when the prices do drop below these levels.
I will also write my second part of the alternative analysis of a portfolio.

Also interested how the market will see the testnet of Oyster. Hopefully this can start a small rocket to the moon.

Change in the spreadsheet

Maybe the biggest change last week was a change in my spreadsheet. I did register the prices daily, so the shart was also updated daily. When you are on a rocket to the moon, this doesn't bother people, but when there are more red than green days this is not really motivational :(
I'm not a day trader, not are any coins close to a point in which I would sell a portion, so there in no use in torturing yourself on a daily basis, is there. When you do look over a week, you will get a much better picture then focusing on daily changes.

How was your crypto week last week?

Thx for reading,
Peter

Hey Peter,

I see my post made you look into Neblio? Good call imo. I'm also keeping my ear on the ground regarding PRL. I think it's a very promising project but it's a bit bearish at them moment, and for some time already..

Let's go to the moon baby. Hope that it will pay off. Time will tell.
If the price drops below 12 euros I will buy some more!

Nice and thanks for sharing! We have a few coins in common but also some big differences. Which 2 coins are you favourite?
