With Bitcoin, the Hope came up that we can have a life without banks. Then the banks make a lot of money just with the transactions from one person to the others. Now we can have a direct transaction and no Bank who profits from it.
We look at Bitcoin as a hero in this time where banks are governed over the world.
Then we know that to rob a bank is a small crime but to own a bank is the biggest crime!
But couldn't Bitcoin be an invention from the banks?!
If we look at the situation from the banks right now. The big bank secrets aren't possible anymore like in the past.
It isn't easy to make money from wars and with illegal handlings anymore. And the market has a low movement at the moment.
The Immobilien is not interesting and the stock market eitherr.
With Bitcoin, these problems are solved. There is a huge movement, it can be used anonym so there is a lot of possibilities to make illegal handlings. And people can save money in the Bitcoin value and with new possibilities of "bank secrets" guarantee.
So a huge potential for profits!
So the banks could just come up with this great Idea of Bitcoin and every one is jumping on the train.
No one would know that it is just an other tool for the banks. To make money and to shine in the market of low % and low market movement.
This would be crazy!
It's possible that they just created the name Satoshi Nakamoto that no one could say it's from the banks. Because till now it's not sure that Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin. But it's all planned and people got paid in the back.
If the banks would really have invented it's sad that the ideas to overcome the bank system got destroyed and we are still in the system we wanted to break.
The good thing would be that the chance that Bitcoins get bigger is higher because the banks will support it.
Maybe we will find out in the future who the real inventor of Bitcoin is.
Don't miss understand me this theory is just a possibility and interesting to think about it.
Also, it is kind of a conspiracy theory but still possible.
So I like to play with this thought.
Why do you think could it be possible that the banks are the inventor or not?
Write it down in the Comments

I also suspect banks are behind it. Besides loosing additional source of income, banks also lost their reputation, in 2008 and the same year Satoshi appeared. (is it really a coincidence?). Blockchain eliminates the need for third parties which may significantly reduce the cost for banks. (Imagine how much money is paid to Visa, SWIFT etc). It also opens a door to new markets. The main opportunity is in remittances and the unbanked population. This is understandable for underdeveloped countries (people with low-income really don't need the bank), but only the most developed countries already regulated the use of cryptocurrencies. (Does Switzerland really have a problem with unbanked population?). The last but not the least, bankers are among early adopters, from day one (proven).
Interesting thought you have!
I think important to know is that the Swiss bank not just operate in Switzerland they operate all over the world, what you probably know. And they wanna stay in the game. Now the unbanked population isn't really big. But what does happen if it grows?
Sure, that's the reason to care for the unbanked population as it's a new market for Swiss banks. However, the number of unbanked will never grow significantly in Switzerland or nearby. If it starts to happen the state will help and it's the only one who really needs banks. Somehow I don't worry about banks, they will for sure find a way. Swiss is the great example. They have only few hundred years of financial stability, mainly thanks to the fact that they accepted everything above a certain amount... why not bitcoin? (Nice topic BTW)
The problem with conspiracy theories is always this: the involved parties need to keep it a secret. You write "the banks", which implies that it's not only two or three guys. It implies that the leaders of a whole industry came together in order to plan such a thing. But as we know from real life, it's difficult to keep a secret. Whether we want it or not; sooner or later the shit hits the fan. For example the VW emissions scandal and there it was only one company involved and not the whole car manufacturing industry.
And finally let's consider that it took a lot of time until Bitcoin became adopted widely. It was more or less pure hasard. It took far too long to take off to be a planned thing.
Yeah that true. For a planned thing it goes really long.
Also, we know that the banks are not really far from exploring the blockchain technology and if they would have invented it, they would know it better in my opinion.
Maybe in the future, we are going to know if Satoshi Nakomoto is the real inventor or not. ;)
great post
deserve a follow :)
Thank you #rakoo
If it would be the pope or Kim Sung II who had invented it: who cares?
It is open source software and thus fully transparent. We are either free to use it as a tool or not. For now, I think it's use as a tool (a ledger) wins over the desire not to use it.
Yeah it doesn't really matter but It's interesting if we would know.
