Bitcoin will always have first mover advantage. I cant see anything taking its place soon. Ethereum has a very different use case to Bitcoin, so its not a replacement.

Sure, but how many of the BTC / ETH holders actually using either for their use cases? Right now both are being held purely for speculative value. The fact that ETH actually has a use can influence which coin speculators invest in.
