Jamie Dimon wants you to use Chase Quickpay instead, because obviously people want their money in 1-2 business days instead of seconds. You also get the benefit of having to put all your personal information into the system before you can use the service, and you get the power of centralized control, so the bank can dictate who you can pay and how much you can pay them. That's why the service is so popular and people use the term "I'll quickpay it to you" all the time.
