Seeing the price Bitcoin dropping I wonder if the investment in digital currency worth more than gold in the long run or not.

Price Bitcoin Today: $3531.31

Upvoted. It's funny how people work. If you asked me that question last year I would tell you no. But this year has been a reminder about that society as a whole places the value. Some would argue a baseball card or a tank of gas is worth more. If someone gave me a choice between the two today I would probably take the bitcoin and immediately cash it out. But someone else wouldn't. It all really depends on the person.

Personally I think the prices of bitcoin could go even higher, but eventfully what will happen is it will become to high, and noone will be able to trade only the rich, and then it will become so high that it will collapse and the invisible suit of cloths will be known

STOPI know gold will have value in 20 years, not sure about BTC. I can only see few years for bitcoin from this perspective, then something needs to change at least hard disc storage needs to go up by many fold.
However, gold can be confiscated, bitcoin can not be.
