For Those of You Who Held Your Bitcoin and Crypto Currencies Congratulations.
It has been a rough two weeks but I think we are turning a corner. Who knows we could still drop if some other nasty piece of #FUD rears its ugly head but I think most of it is behind us.
For the first time in a while I woke up to green. It was all too common to see the bleeding red on my Blockfolio. I wish China did not pull this stunt. I believe we would have been over $5k Bitcoin if it was not for the news out of China.
If I Could Turn Back Time I Would Have Sat This Trade Out.
If I would have just held I would have been much better off. Congratulations to all of you who resisted the urge to trade the volatility. I have learned my lesson and will stick to trading the markets that are trading sideways. I like it when a market is predictable.

Nice post! I am not that concerned about FUD: I think BTC as a system gets stronger the more hit it gets. So, the decrease in price gets a stronger system and a higher price further down the road. I am acquiring coins for long term hodl. Trading in and out just makes it too difficult. At some point, the legit coins will head up and these levels wont be seen again.
When will that happen? I dont know but I agree, even one more leg down might be the last. We will see this thing take off. Too much publicity, Dimon aside, is being generated. We will see a wild ride the next 6-12 months.

The only problem is that we have too many coins, and most of them are sh*t coins. (pardon the language, but this is really what they are called).
So, the difficult part becomes finding the gems. I (and many crypto-investors) have been working on this for some time now. Fundamental analysis is very much needed here.
Just before the China news broke I convinced my wife to let me invest more into crypto. Now every morning she asks me about the current price. It is a very uncomfortable position to be in . I am with you. Going to HODL
I would not talk about it. Everything should normalize. It always does. I just hope it doesn't take a year.
I told her not to worry about it. If she looks at it every day it will drive her crazy
What I do when friends of mine who invest for long term prospects and then start freaking out over routing fluctuations, is remind them that nothing about the fundamentals has changed. The reasons we believe this tech has value are unchanged. Instead of getting upset, you should be happy that you can buy more cheaper cause its on sale.
Great news @hilarski, I also think that everything is getting better and we are going to quietly. An interesting coin Flashcoin, is there already on the stock exchanges?

@hilarski I totally agree with you, after 2 weeks of red, the green arouse again. History of crypto and bitcoin tells we need to be calm and hold, this will continue until mass adoption. Manipulation is possible now because few people know and own crypto. Later on things will change and the media and banks as well governments will have less control on cryptos. @gold84

yes right now tethering it USD bc I heard of more "rumors" out of china. I'll wait until the week is over.
I am a gambler so I won't use Tether but I understand. Sometimes I go to USD using Wirex but they have become so unreliable.
Buying and HODL'ing. . . There's no turning back now.
After all the times this thing has happened, investors should realise already to hold their precious crypto's...

weird how things turn around so fast with crypto. that's the game thou is some regards if your into for the trading side of things. i still very much believe in crypto moving forward.
Crypto currency is not yet mainstream, that is why there is fud. But i think it has done well so far even if it is not mainstream.
