It's interesting how the market has diversified in the last 2 years, particularly with the emergence of Ethereum. This is a good sign of a maturing market, and I think that there pros and cons with each currency. The key for the future of crypto-currencies is the use of blockchain technology or something similar. The variations on these currencies, at the moment, appears to be merely cosmetic. Although, you would know more about this than I.
