I would much prefer that these parties would just build a fresh new blockchain instead of playing with Bitcoin. Is anyone else tired of these shenanigans?!

i totally agree with your thoughts but i think the future of bitcoin is fantastic, i am sure buy and hodl the btc now is no doubt a wise decision instead to developing a fresh blockchain.

True... I too don't like any changes to Bitcoin, whatever it is accept it or leave it.
I agree. What it will happen if we continue to get more and more Bitcoin variations and forks?
What will happen if the other cryptocurrencies have their own hard forks ? Will there be the same interest or they were getting less and less support ...
What is happening is dilution.
I mean, now I have my freakin' Nano S asking me which fork to use!?! As if adopting a new tech that involves the potential of losing a significant amount of REAL money with ZERO recourse, isn't nerve wracking enough, now I can't even use my freaking hardware wallet without an education in SegWit, the battle with BTC and hoping, wing and a prayer, that I make the right choice and don't lose thousands.
Really great end-user experience over here you nit wits! Obviously the Deep crypto community values their own fiefdoms over mass adoption. Wonder how they are missing the point of the massive loss in value that comes with this navel gazing.
Don't forget, if you have an issue or question about your Ledger Nano - tech support has a 3 week backlog! I'm imagining it is the same with Trezor & Keepkey. Anyone know different?

This is natural... this is life. Evolution. Not scrap and burn. Build off we know, build off each other as we agree. It's a process. Stronger that way, like folding steel 1000 times on a samurai blade. End the end, sharp as hell.

It is a tad irresponsible to write it off as some sort of "natural" process.
It is scaring off - and pissing off - a significant # of people, such that it definitely is pushing back widespread adoption. So, sure, life is messy. Evolution is CERTAINLY messy. That does not excuse bad behavior, an inability to reach compromise and the constant fuckery afoot in the crypto space. This trader is now pure HODLer and have reduced the % of my portfolio that contains crypto. So WEEEEEE, isn't life fun!?! eyeroll
It's BS now few days for the next Bitcoin fork which is going to be #Bitcoin Gold.
Creating new coins are interesting without forking old ones.

After every fork, the original code base should be called BTC, the other should be called something completely different? Then the free market will decide which they prefer.
There are always some bad/good news for bitcoin. Im starting to think that all of this is just manipulation...

Honestly I think it's time for BTC to stand aside. There is already way better alternatives out there, not being appriciated cause everyone is focused on Bitcoins...
These splits make me nervous for some reason! I feel like it hurts the image of Bitcoin since a new coin can get spun off somewhat easily..

These splits are just crazy mate, don't know how many more to come.
I wish it all just passes soon and we can move on to the next big thing. Don’t really care about the free coins that much.. I’d rather just skip the drama.

On the other hand, if the new bitcoin is given for free, like bitcoin in cash, it will be quite good :)
