The world's 11th largest (TRON · TRX) acquires BitTorrent, (P2P) file-sharing company.
BitTorrent officially announced its takeover of It's Official (BitTorrent Is Now Part of TRON!) On its official blog.
Founded in 2004, BitTorrent has more than 100 million real users worldwide and is one of the best apps on Google Play.
According to the blog, BitTorrent will continue to provide users with high-quality services in San Francisco where Tron is located, and will accelerate BitTorrent's mission to create the Internet with options rather than rules via the Tron network.
"BitTorrent is now part of Tron," said Justin Sun, founder of Tron, on Twitter. "Tron will build the world's largest decentralized ecosystem." He said.
"BitTorrent is a perfect match for Tron's goal of a distributed network," BitTorrent says. "BitTorrent has more than 100 million users worldwide, and Tron will have a global impact in no time." I expected.
Meanwhile, Tron will announce its Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) on Tuesday. TVM, described as "the cornerstone of the tron ecosystem" at the Trond Foundation, will provide a protocol for building user-friendly block chains and will be used for smart contracts for the periodic truncation of the Trond Foundation and the creation of new cryptography.
