I think a sharp dip in BTC potentially bodes well for altcoins, does it not?

I think for the most part all the coins are due for some consolidation to make another move higher

I think you're right. I hope so. I think the Bitcoin highs are getting so much press attention that even people who previously had no interest are taking notice. I remember when Bitcoin hit $600 and people thought that was the top. following you for more info.
