Youtube star Pewdiepie joins the DLive cryptocurrency platform

Pewdiepie is one of the leading Youtubers with more than 93 Million subscribers and has just announced that he is partnering with Dlive a Youtube competitor on the Lino Blockchain.

When something like this happens to Steemit, it would change the Steemit application for ever.

“DLive is a place where instead of competing against each other, it benefits creators to support one another. With no platform cuts, we incentivize everyone to create the highest quality content for viewers,” said Wilson Wei, Co-Founder of Lino Network, “PewDiePie has always been a fierce advocate for the value that creators bring with their hard work, time, and effort, and he believes in DLive’s vision.”

Then just after that, Paul Joseph Watson, who has 940 000 twitter followers announced that he will be joining on the Dlive platform.

Steemit is trying very hard to achieve mass adoption, but for some or other reason is not succeeding in bringing on the massive Online stars to the platform.

I must say that the content and more specifically the trending page on the Steemit platform has definitely improved over the years since I joined the platform in 2016. There is however still room for a lot of improvement.

I do not think the best content is identified and ends on the trending page. I am not saying that I have an answer to this problem, but do believe there is a lot of great content on the platform which does not reach the trending page.

If we want the Steem price to moon, we need actual great content to consistently be on the trending page. Why will the large online users not join the platform if they are ensured that their content will reach the trending page.

They don't have to share massive revenues with a platform like YouTube and they will actually be rewarded with one of the leading crypto currencies on the market. I truly believe Steemit has a lot to offer and should be one of the leading crypto platforms globally.
