Used by banks doesn't mean it's a bank coin. Although I do agree a centralized cryptocurrency goes against the nature of BTC.

I know it's not owned by banks... of course, but it empowers banks by saving them money, taking away the real potential of cryptos which is supposed to be about the individual being his or her own bank.
