The Company I work for will be providing to the electric needs of Bitmain. This is goin to be a huge project for us!! My crew just built a substation not too far from where Bitmain will be setting up their Bitcoin mining operations, just a year and a half ago.
Guess what, that little substation will be maxed out due to the demands of Bitmain. This might seem like a problem but it is really not an issue. With the money generated from Bitmain my company should be able to add onto the existing substation rather quickly. There is plenty of room to do so behind the exiting one. Good planning went into the placement of this substation.
This should also bring about 30 permanent jobs to the small area. It might not seem like much but when you are in a small rural town, that can be a good amount jobs. Jobs where people don’t have to travel and hour one way to work. Just hop on a bike and ride around the corner.
It has been quite a fight with the Port of Walla Walla to get this thing goin and it finally seems things are moving forward. We have been discussing this at work for the past 6 months wondering when or what will happen.
Now we are just waiting for Bitmain to send a check, so the my Lineman brothers and I can get to work supplying them with the amount electricity they want.
As the project gets goin I hope I can give you and inside look at what goes into getting Bitmain the electricity they need.
Until next time
Steem on
Everybody

Appreciate the update man, I like your posts and respect a guy who works with raw electric gear out in the field.
Let us know how that develops, I'm into crypto and this is very interesting to me.
I will do my best to keep the info coming out as I am able to. We were under a NDA for a while and couldn’t say much about it. I’m goin to find the exact location and get some before pics then when construction starts I will have some updates rolling in.
Cryptos aren’t goin anywhere and this is proof.
Thanks man, I understand if you have some job-related non-disclosure stuff.
Appreciate the reply!
Their is another company wanting to lease land from us next to another one of our substations. So this company is goin to pay to lease the land and pay a hefty monthly bill on top of that to the company I work for. Sounds like a no brained to me. That one should be a go pretty soon too.
We service 3 pot growing companies and soon will have to bitcoin mining companies. We are diversified. Lol
