The only thing that should get hurt in the long run is the assumption that news items never influence Elliott Waves - no rule without exception...

What I've come to notice in my less than 5 months of trading is that smaller the time frame, less important fundamentals are and longer the time frame more important fundamentals are.
If you are using 5min charts, the effect of fundamentals are negligible. But if you are going to buy and hold (especially a new coin without much price history) and use a long time frame (weekly or higher) fundamentals matter a lot.
One thing about life is that you live it in scenes but remember it in moments. At least according to my crypto experiences day trading is pretty much just sentiment based. But like anything in the world, facts catch upto feeling, eventually.
