Everybody claims some other network will overtake bitcoin... and it may.
However, this is why bitcoin has lasted so long thus far and why I believe it will continue to do so:
EOS raised roughly $4B to create a centralized network where ordinary users can't even run their own node.
ETH raised $16M to create a network that was hacked, forked, and STILL doesn't have a single dapp with a legit use case.
BTC raised $0 to create the internet of money.
At some point, some fabric chain will likely get it right and become massive, but bitcoin will always be the store of value coin as far as crypto is concerned.
What becomes the best fabric chain or payment currency is still up for debate.
