I know about nothing re: crypto but it looks worthwhile to me. I mean tied to an actual valuable social platform like this. I've only invested $40 of my own money and that's fine with me. I'm not willing at the moment (nor do I have more to spend/risk) but I read somewhere that if you would have owned $100. In bitcoin 7 years ago? Today you'd have over 30M$! If steemit does even a fraction I'd be happy as a pig in mud...:D

You have a good point. There are other crypto's worth investing into. Like EOS, who also created steemit. They could possibly be the next bitcoin, so why not invest $100 into it. You gotta keep learning more and more about crypto. It is so so important right now to know about this new technology. Plus, they say, never invest what you're willing to lose. Learn by going to youtube and searching for a step by step tutorial on investing a little into other cryptos. Steemit is a great start. Keep going !
I kind of wish I would have left a little in bitcoin. I originally bought bit coin and transferred it into steem. Found out it would have been smarter to buy ethereum instead and transfer that. Oh well I'm learning.
Yeah educate me on this. I have no idea what eos is. I'm thinking of throwing $20 here & there just in case ya know. Even $20 is better than nothing. Did you see my post on Sophia? https://steemit.com/dtube/@julzee/tyhkw2eq If SA is investing then seems like $20 there wouldn't hurt eh? Is the actual coin called singularity? And how would I buy some?
