RE: ICO Spotlight | CyberMiles – The Next Generation Blockchain E-Commerce Platform

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Why do they need to put an PoS incentive if they are a token and not a blockchain itself? I'm a bit confuse, if you have an answer it will be great ^^

Thank you for your amazing work.
I give you my upvote even if i'm a little fish, the intention is here.

every big fish was a little one first!

CyberMiles is a blockchain platform and they will distribute CMT on that platform. They need some sort of "mining" incentive to blocks, much like bitcoin miners verify blocks for a fee. PoS is usually used to confirm blocks on the blockchain and also an incentive to keep the price stable as you are required to hold tokens somewhere (usually a wallet). The reward to mine is set by blockchain rules. CMT uses 8% which is generous - but not over generous that it will hurt the blockchain. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for the coment and upvote!
