My friend & his friend bought BTC in 2009 and they both bought $40.00 each w/o knowing anything. It was fraction of pennies at that time I believe. Then, both of them forgot about it. Earlier this year, he heard about the hype and found out that BTC was $2000.00. So he called his friend that bought it for both of them to find out what happened to their BTC b/c apparently, his friend had both cards. Now, these guys have known each other for 25+ years as friends. His friend said he will find out and hung up. My friend called him few days later and his phone # was disconnected and nowhere to be found. He called their mom and she said he disappeared. I think the value of the their $40.00 each was close to 8 million dollar, give or take. He now have no idea how to find him or retrieve his BTC from his friend b/c he doesn't even remember what it had looked like.
