Christine Lagarde from IMF was talking about CBDC in SIngapore last week at the Fintech festival there - at the same time as ASEAN summit was going on. she was saying that countries should think about making their own national crypto currencies - issued by their Central Banks... so, perhaps that's what is all about. they will make the CBDC "crypto-fiat" - and then make illegal all the Crypto which we have now. may be also will be some "stablecoins" made by big Corporations. that's all.
