Their 24h volume is around $2 622 556 USD right now.

They have released an app that allows you to buy BTC in convenience store chain called OXXO.

Since most of us dont live in Mexico here is info about how big that company is.

Some of this stores are also open 24/7.

Hopefully in future we can see such deals in many countries so cryptos will be as easy to buy as a loaf of bread.

Thanks for sharing this huge news with us. That will be exciting when we can buy BTC at 7/11's (aside from the occasional BTC ATM's with high fees). When we can buy BTC over the counter in the US then we will know crypto adoption is widespread.

Its really good this platform, i use it and you can withdraw your money from crypto immediately, send it to you bank account and then withdraw it from any ATM. Its just starting this... it was like when the internet started and not all people had email... but now a days everyone has. Or when e-commerce started and not many people bought, but now even sears is closing: http://www.businessinsider.com/retail-defaults-are-at-an-all-time-high-2018-4 because of e-commerce... im sure in the future we will see this kind of news but with some banks...

Is there a mechanism like "know your customers" for the users?

yes, Im from Mexico and I use this platform, to open an account you need all your personal information, and like all exchanges you can use it first without ID but if you wanna make bigger transactions you need to send your ID, even recently a new fintech law was approved to regulate cryptocurrencies and users. It is now a legal way of payment and even helps this law helps to improve the uses of sending money and receiving money abroad, and now bitso has more services, one of them is "kind of" western union service but way cheaper... : https://blog.bitso.com/ley-fintech-implicaciones-para-bitso-y-la-relaci%C3%B3n-con-sus-usuarios-57f5acfabc40?source=rss----3ff1d77a4cf1---4

This makes it even easier to buy in, so when the next bull market kicks off there will be even more people ready and able to buy in.

Good to hear that it is being accepted everywhere and new exchanges are coming up which shows its popularity

The idea of it is great but the double fees makes it much less attractive. Still, it’s good to see that the market is opening up to more people around the world given that so many countries are trying to shut the doors on crypto exchanges.

I never have understood why Mexico is a poor country.
This is promising.
If they play it right they might be on the road to riches.

I never have understood why Mexico is a poor country.

When something doesn't work, their mode of action is to wait & hope it will resolve for itself.

Last year a friend in a Mexican residence kept complaining to the landlord that there was no more water (they have to call a "water-truck" to come refill the reserves). The owner answered him in all seriousness "work slower so you sweat less and don't need to shower".

It's only one example from many other ones.

While the Mexicans are burning the tarmac, I still wait for my weekly pay so I can buy more from exchange.

dear @kingscrown
All your posts are good, which can be learned a lot,

Great news there
Crypto message keeps spreading like wide fire
It's a digital world with a digital currency

This is huge. Why is it just limited to Mexico at this point is beyond me. It's basically localbitcoins as far as I'm concerned.

Incredible. Thanks for sharing that!

Very interesting! Resteemed!

If the "currency" portion of cryptocurrency is to come to fruition, which is imperative in the long run to break away from the financial cartel, it needs to be accepted by stores like Oxxo for goods and services, not just bought/sold (at) them.

Always great to see continued adoption. Mexico seems to be quite willing to progress with crypto, hopefully other countries follow their lead.

That awesome! This is a good development in the history of Crypto. The more people knows about bitcoin and crypto, the more potential investors will come in that gives more value to it. I can't wait to see 10% of the people around the world using Bitcoin and crypto.

That was a good news to all bitcoiners.

Good news for the Mexican people.

More adoption the better!

Good for Mexico!

Neat. Now perhaps there will be companies in other countries that will follow suit and offer similar services. If they did so that would grant a lot of stability to the market.

WOW! This is big news and shows just how USA's viewpoint on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin compares with so many places internationally. Mexico and Zimbabwe are just two examples of true adoption and acceptance of crypto that I read about this morning! Thanks for the information. Keep up the good work and sharing. -Respect

This is big news, hopefully more awareness and draws more numbers in
