For last years Bitmain was top1 producer of bitcoin mining rigs and it seemed competitors wont show up due to high costs of creating chips and manufacturing of miners.
Current flag product is Antminer S9 with 13.5TH/s.
Today new company Halong Mining shown video of their prototype that is 30% more efficent than S9 and is going to be cheaper.
The machine mines at 17th on the video and promises at least 16TH.
While there is often vapoware with miners, this one has BtcDrak one of Bitcoin Core devs in team and clims to already spend 30 million dollars on testing this hardware.
So if they work as they claim, they are cheaper, use less electricity and have more mining power than Bitmain.
Some big users already claimed they did pre-orders on this.
And others claim more stuff is coming.
Top Bitcoin Pools
BTC.com and AntPool are owned by Bitmain. Many people say that ViaBTC is also connected to manufactuer.
Most Profitable Sha256 Coins Now
As you see currently mining Bitcoin Cash is best and selling on HitBTC but if you are lazy just run NiceHash software for easy profits.

Hello & Cheers!! I'm a content detection and information bot. You are receiving this reply because a short link or links have been detected in your post/comment. The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links.
To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.
To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as
[steemit](https://steemit.com)
Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.Looking at those pics of a dragonmint resembles so much to the antminer that it is hard to believe there is no relations. Personally it looks like a scam but if it isn't kuddos for the people who own and use these miners. May the force be stronger in the bitcoin blockchain with these miners!
Dubious, had me browsing to find more info and posted on my findings here. I think people will be sceptical. https://steemit.com/steemit/@johnchamberlain/steemit-on-r-bitcoin
"The days where anyone could make money mining Bitcoin with a desktop computer or GPU cards are unfortunately long gone. The total computing (or “hashing”) power of the network has risen exponentially since the introduction of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), or machines designed specifically to solve Bitcoin’s mining proof-of-work algorithm and nothing else."
Is bitcoin mining really profitable to the average man?
For those average men who own ASIC miners yes. believe with what China has done is make bitcoin mining achievable for the average man. If they had held off the antminers they would likely have own much more of the bitcoin blockchain. Instead they were wise to not only beat out most competition but have a legion of followers buying their products.
As an average man where can I go find a 19TH/s sha-256 for less than $2k other than bitmain. Many of us do not have the capital to create a mining farm but bitmain give us something to compete with those farms.
Well said, I'm in the same boat
Oh dang lower price, hopefully less power to we might see some huge jumps in mining power. What is starting to suck though is its becoming more centralized as less and less people can get their hands on these big time miners.
@bitcoinflood you are right on that, and that is Really the case

agreed. The glory days of bitcoin mining are long gone. Much better to just and hold bitcoin. Also it’s less noisy!
Exactlyyy
Perhaps other coins that don't make chip mining possible is the future for smaller pc miners.

I find it amazing to see how far Bitcoin has come since first being introduced in 2009! Back then I had a spare PC with a good graphics card running a small mining application. Ha ha What did I know! ¯_(ツ)_/¯
