You've no doubt read countless articles touting the advantages of decentralized blockchains - however, there's no comparison between the amount you'll learn about the actual protocol by programming it, rather than just reading about it.
I have recently come across this Bitcoin Edge a non-profit initiative to train people(programmers) who can understand the underlying concepts and help the industry to move fast.
You can visit the website here https://bitcoinedge.org/
There are video lectures from Jimmy Song and other Bitcoin core developers from the workshop that happened at Stanford University in November. These lectures contain very detailed and complete information about the bitcoin blockchain. These tutorials may be overwhelming for most of us but that's why we call it a magic by Satoshi.
The interest in Blockchain and its capabilities is rising at a massive rate but one of the main hindrances that organizations find is- "Lack of talent". There are not enough programmers who have expertise on the subject.
For the love of Blockchain and bitcoin lets spread the news far and wide.
this is actually a great share, thanks @knight-fury
