I hadn't seen this posted anywhere on Steemit and I thought it would be important to share. As many are aware, there have been two major sides in the bitcoin political debate that has been on going for years. It's not often the two sides can come together and have a discussion in peaceful terms. Head over to r/btc or r/bitcoin and you will quickly find instances of either side attacking the other.
Here is an excellent, civil discussion from two different sides of the debate. I think they both make compelling arguments from their viewpoint. Hoping we can have more debates like this in the future.

A very good debate. Both made their cases well although I think Roger was the better debater although I tend to think Richard's stance has a bit more merit.
Agreed. Roger is definitely is the better debater. I cant help but agree with him for Bitcoins direction in the short term. Richard made some good technical arguments though. I'm glad both sides can still come together for a healthy debate. Hopefully both sides can move forward together someday. Still a big gap between them.
