I pulled the trigger

I wrote a while back about selling a Bitcoin and buying a few hundred thousand DigiByte. At the time of the writing, one BTC would have netted me about 400,000 DGB. But letting go of a Bitcoin ain’t that easy, (even though emotions should never be in a financial decision).

Well I experimented at fist with only 10 Litecoin, picked up over 49,000 DGB... that was a good call as the ROI is higher than if I had stayed in LTC... substantially.

Well I see the writing in the wall as the #DigiByte community is the strongest I have seen, but the tech seems to blow the doors off of everything else.

First it is so much faster than BTC or LTC, it has better security and scalability without the need of a sidechain app. It has #DigiID which is now integrated with both Chrome and Firefox browser extensions... which means it will be integrated into virtually all of them as well as all social media in the future.

Then you have...

Dandelion is an on chain privacy option already being tested. It hides your IP address and stems out to many others like the seeds of a dandelion blowing off the stem making the transaction untraceable. This is ahead of LTC and BTC options still not in testing.

Then you have #DigiAssets coming up soon that with far outshine, outpace, outscale Ethereum so new offerings and platforms will build on a faster, less expensive, private base that is still onchain. This will keep new businesses far more simple, fast, cheap and secure (the greatest concern in this new paradigm). I feel it may even propel DGB past ETH

The Strategy

So I still want to take advantage of the MimbleWimble BTC airdrop mid July, 2019 as much as possible. So as DGB out performs BTC substantially, I will be able to buy back the BTC for the airdrop and have a bunch of free DGB and the extra MWC.

Only time will tell
