I would be happy with equivalent platform... imagine all those EOS becoming worth what ETH is... and if it is better (faster, more socially acceptable, etc.) then past it.
What will be interesting to see is the battle between EOS and LTC and SMT's.
EOS is as close to a sure thing as you can get. There is a discussion going on in the Bitshares community to possibly merge with their platform even. EOS shows nothing but promising gains in the future IMO.
