The National Blockchain Observatory of Venezuela has declared that from 22 December of 2017 to 21 of January of 2018, will start the register for all the people that wants to legalize their miners into the county, as they are a great source of income, the process will be through their web page (web page not found).
We can safely assume that people that wants to "mine" this new Petro Coin will only be able after they register their miner equipment, but there was not any mention of how the processes will take place, or if even if people outside of Venezuela can take part of.

Interesting. That would scare the hell out of me if I had to hand all of my info like that to the government officials. I thought the beauty of this platform and similar currency to what you are talking about is that it's done outside of government bureaucracy. Anyways, great post good read.
You may not know this, and this may shock you, but Venezuela don't have any government, what we have is bunch of clowns trying to look like are a government.
Petro Coin is a Scam, and this all we can said about because they themselves are hiding information to their own benefit.

In actual fact i don't think they know what they are doing but they know what the want to do, i would be scare shitless if i had a mining farm, because we can translate this announcement as "any bitcoin farm in the country are illegal if they don't register" will they come after you if you don't use their web site ? what about people that use one computer to mine ? Only time will tell.
