The high levels of an epidemic that has been unleashed worldwide are striking: cryptocurrency mining. This represents a high percentage of profits over the cost of production, besides not having to add any type of effort other than the cost of purchasing the mining equipment and the setting of the place where they will be located.
Citizens are worried about how to acquire a machine to mine cryptocurrencies and the wealthiest of riding farms. Now it seems that premium in society, "easy money", whose cost at the beginning is minimal if you start with a machine to mine and over time, the same machine will generate profits to acquire others equal or superior.
And why do I speak of "easy money" when talking about cryptocurrency mining?
The machines are working 24 hours a day, solving mathematical problems and accumulating cryptocurrencies by solving them. The value of them exceeds the dollar, so it is a great temptation to dedicate yourself to undermining and leaving your work routine that you have as an employee, which requires more effort and leaves you less income. It is the gain of more money for less effort.
Then I see a society that degrades in its principles and values, focused on obtaining money to satisfy needs and luxuries. Leaving aside discipline, innovation, social responsibility, constant work, the creation of value, teamwork and the vision of the future of the country, among other valuable things.
When we see the history of great entrepreneurs, we see that they started their businesses with love, perseverance, perseverance, innovating, adding value, among other qualities backed by solid ethical and moral principles. What led them to be great millionaires today. You can not say the same, of someone who has status for "easy money".
A society is amoral, when a government tells its young people that it will install farms to mine cryptocurrencies in public educational institutions, with the promise that they will be able to have resources. Instead of reactivating the industrial and research park in the universities. It is teaching young people to live on easy money.
Since Venezuela is a country so rich in natural resources and strategic geopolitical position, should not its young students be taught how to make the most of this and enhance the development of the nation? What kind of values and principles are being infused into the country? push them to get the money so easy? Will these young people feel motivated to develop in a profession that in the end will not generate quick money like that of cryptocurrency mining? Do they not know that many of the virtual markets are sources money laundering ?, Can a society advance or develop in this way ?.
I am not against the cryptocurrency mining, I do not agree that a government teaches society to depend on it.
It is definitely the degradation of an entire society.

God bless you, I follow you
I believe it is due to the huge and widening income gaps between the top 1% and the rest that are being preoccupied by survival and are concerned about money 100% of their time. Respectively the extensive 'mining'.
So true! A habit of easy money is nothing but a start of corrosion of young souls. Hope all the governments take proper measures to save their young ones.
thanks
