My same argument applies. Where is the incentive to use something new that comes in when its network value is so low compared to BTC? Dash is 'better' than BTC in many ways but has way, way fewer users. Bitcoin is so far head of it's nearest competitor that it may already be beyond any possibility of a rival network replacing it.
How likely is it that something comes along that will cause the Internet's dominance to feather down as not to be the dominant network in the future?
Blockchain technology is not replacing the Internet, it's enhancing it, making it even less likely for the Internet to be supplanted by something new.
Some day a new technology will be created that fixes the problems with blockchain technology, but instead of replacing blockchain technology, it will enhance it.
