RE: Warning: DASH privacy is worse than Bitcoin

in #bitcoin8 years ago

Warning: This guy is a infamous monero troll.

"These masternodes can log the inputs and outputs and therefore deanonymize the users."
total lie and he knows it. if you own like ~90% of the masternodes (multi multi millions of dollars worth) you maybe able to deanonymize ~1% of darksend/privatesend transactions. those are rough estimates going from memory but maybe someone can post the exact mathematical equations, there is a chart floating around the dash thread somewhere. and no the nsa can not get access (jurisdiction problem with sovereign countries) to all the masternode servers around the world, a bunch of them maybe but not close to enough to sybil and deanonomize. there are ways to mitigate that being worked on anyways.

speaking of the nsa and monero....
What NSA created CryptoNote for?

the monero troll army has been challenged for months to deanonymize dash and has failed.....

Dash De-anonymization Contest

Icebreaker and other trolleros: I have donated $1 to Monero's development team. I sent 0.25 Dash (TX ID: 59d51690d4b56ddbf1e393fa8d3a49bcfc3247f270f36be3b6ee411802666cba-000) to shapeshift.io, which converted it to Bitcoin and sent it to the official Monero donation address listed at https://getmonero.org/getting-started/donate/.

I challenge you to de-anonymize this transaction. To make it just a little easier, I only used four rounds of Darksend, so it's exponentially less private than it would be with the maximum eight rounds.

Please tell me what address this transaction originated from.

Cheers!"

"Instamine"
lol, drink!
they always throw in the instamine to cover-up their own launch issues namely the monero cripplemine and ongoing fastmine.
Why the bitmonero/monero Ninjalaunched Cripplemined Fastmine matters
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1435385.0

both the dash instamine and the monero cripplemine have little to no effect on either coins anymore as those coins have been widely distributed long ago. more distributed than say satoshi and hal and others millions plus btc hordes from the early mining days. exchange hacks (mintpal, cryptsy, etc) caused more problems than the instamine imo. the monero fastmine (12,395,739 XMR) is the real problem and the elephant in the room.

the monero white knight crypto police/ CJW's crypto justice warriors have invaded almost every coins thread on btctalk and elsewhere spreading their FUD thinking it will help their coin but it just makes them look desperate and hurts the crypto community as a whole. enough is enough, go work on releasing a working official GUI wallet before you start throwing stones in your glass house.

Sort:

Speaking of the NSA and American military institutions , they also created 90% of the cryptography you use today. And they created and funded Tor. Don't forget to stop using your computer!
