Litecoin is bitcoin at its base, but then they fixed the problems with Bitcoin.
I really don't know why it's still so cheap. I've already invested so much that I can only wait for others to realise Litecoins true value. In another year I suspect we'll be up to $200 easy.
Far more uses for Litcoin whereas Bitcoin is largely just a store of value or used for bigger transactions
HODL all of them. Then it doesn't matter which one becomes most prevalent. That's what I'm doing. I HODL some LTC, BTC, ETH, ETC, Monero, Zcash, Dash, DOT, Dark, Kore, Ripple, Redd.... And a bunch of others. I hold them at pennies, and if they get large and I don't think they will hold it (ETH), I sell when they peak. I bought ETH at $11, and sold at $420. I'm still HODL SOME of them, but not many, because I don't trust that coin like I trust some of the others.
It's things like this that make me question why bitcoin ever got where it was. I mean, it was the first, so it was bound to have an edge, but if you started from scratch (wiping out every memory and written record of how we value them today), bitcoin would probably be way closer to these (literally) dime-a-dozen altcoins then leader of the pack.
