When BCH split from BTC one of the arguments in a favour of big blocks was layer two scaling would lead to centralization through large payment channels. Fast forward a year and the BCH community is now in a civil war with two major players (CSW, and Calvin Ayre) threatening to essentially take over the network through the share of mining power they control, two factions deciding the fate of an entire network? Doesn't sound very democratic.
Now not all involved with BCH are bad actors and actually two of the emperors (Ver and Wu) are simply pursuing what they believe to be the most viable path for bitcoin long term (imo)
The community should follow the advice of Vitalik and ostracize CSW and CoinGeek into irrelevancy. The fact that people can support these two (one a complete and blatantly obvious fraud and the other running a propaganda like news service) is a testament to the tribal nature of our species and the susceptibility of people to divulge into cult like behavior.
If unity can not be found I wouldn't put your money on BCH to survive.
