FIAT is a currency declared by a government. It's like FIAT in that it has no intrinsic value nor is it a trade-able commodity. Metals will always be money. Yeah I stack...and its beautiful...not ugly. :)

Bitcoin isn't declared by the government; therefore, not fiat (not sure what the cap lock is all about), thank you for contradicting yourself.
Also, it is traded, so I'm not sure how you think it is untraded. Fiat currency is also traded and is traded for other currencies.
