Centralization vs. decentralization of cryptocurrency...the future

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

What could happen if major companies began to issue their own coins? This would pose a problem to the Decentralized nature of crypto currency's. What you' might see is the loss of crypto currency's decentralizing platforms hat are supported by thousands and thousands of people trading, placing value on the currencies, now taken over by central companies already worth billions of dollars.. If a multibillion, multinational Company , such as apple (which currently makes the entire value of bitcoin in one 4 month quarter of earnings), began to put their technology and expertise behind a crypto currency would that totally destroy the centralize nature of the masses? Would it be possible then to continue with decentralization with this type of new currency? Or as with most things do you The established richest and most powerful people take over and he can be authority tossing out the weaker individual players in the crypto currency world.

Even if crypto currency is your name centralized what if major hedge funds and investment for began creating ETFs that were designed to trade a major chunks of crypto currency is all at once. This is already happening where you have a parts that trade right away based on the increase in the crease of the price of certain point. If this happened in mass then it would begin to centralize value of currency into a few major players hands.
