Uncertainty and doubt has finally been lifted from Bitcoin and the result of all that is a large price spike. It seems that we will soon participate in an all time high for Bitcoin, and once the dust settles you can only imagine where will alts go soon after, and most importantly where will Steem go.
We and all alts are very dependent on Bitcoin price, so if Bitcoin is doing good we are all doing good. Participating in Bitcoin debate is good for the masses, specially if the masses saw the buy signal after Bip 91 lock in and turned the market from bearish to bullish in an instant.
Those are all signs that cryptocurrency as a whole is not going anywhere and next few years will be something truly spectacular. Whatever you bought, whatever you're holding, whatever you're selling, it is time to buckle up, there will be some epic roller coaster rides soon in crypto space.
It is an amazing thing! I'm really curious to which heights it will rise now!

FINALLY ! this has gone on for far too long !
let the rockets ignite !
because when people in the US wake up, the markets should react accordingly
Yes, it's a very good sign. I was expecting a correction based on the chart technical analysis, and given the BIP91 issue, but it certainly took off quicker than expected. Which is good for Steem also.
The dip that happened few days ago was a perfect buy opportunity it seems. Crazy days incoming.
I think bitcoin will have a bigger spike in august, when everybody will realize what this update means for bitcoin.
It's something they should have done 1-2 years back, but better later than never...
For anyone thinking to short Bitcoin, think again :)
Blockchain technology is the future, its an inevitable paradigm shift that we need to make to right the wrongs created by the FIAT monetary system. We see ICO's pop up everywhere now and I don't think thats going to stop, we will get to a point where every single person is the owner of their own personal cryptocurrency and value will be determined by how much each and every individual contributes to society.
The popular trusted and good will rise and the cheats, piranhas and sharks will fall, this is the way of the new world and we are lucky enough to be at the forefront of this change.
Nicely said. We are those who took the risk and are rewarded for it.
why STEEM DOLLARS are not following steem price? Are they gaining value slower or it has nothing to do with the cost of steem. Can somebody explain it to me
Steem Dollars should be pegged at 1 USD value, when we were at 1.5 and more, that price was inflated. SBD are now on price level they are supposed to be.
That is the case. That's why I get less steem when I change my steem dollars.Thank you for the explanation
This morning I feel the spike, it rouse up fast and my account filled with joy again... I hope steem will do the same...
Steem also jumped in dollar value, 1.47 atm.
I really do not understand about steemit, thanks for making this post because it can help me a little understanding how steemit work, I always wait for your next post, thanks
