Kind of hard to tell you what to do when Steem is near an all time high, but personally I'm very bullish for Steem and expect we should be at $10+ eventually.
Key word is eventually. If you want to get more use and return out of Steem powering up Steem is always wise. You will be able to give more rewards if the price of Steem goes up more in that case
