I have been following Jameson Lopp on Twitter (@lopp) for some time now. I believe he has one of the most helpful websites for newcomers to the Bitcoin and Crypto world. He has gathered very broad coverage of bitcoin and gathered very helpful resources. You can probably spend weeks here learning from the history of bitcoin to the potential future with the lightning network. I thought it would be good to share the link to the community.

In terms of the Steemit community, I think the opinions and feedback of each person is valuable as it provides prospectives from one own point of view. I consider myself a crypto enthusiast but far from an expert but I think that the community together can help each other educate on different subjects. That is why I found this website and made the post. It is helping me understand the risk and opportunities in crypto so I can do my homework and make my own decisions.
