The fork is expected around 16th Nov but as Segwit2x hasn’t implemented replay protection, you could lose both sets of coins if you move one of them post fork. The transaction can be rebroadcast on the other chain Moving those coins also. Be very careful.
Elliott Waves states that news or an event shall arrive to justify the forecast and never the reverse. Thus, Technical Analysis begets the fundamentals, and never the reverse. This is why I rarely venture to find out the fundamentals of a coin because EW begets fundamentals.
Personally I don't think it will happen. After the Fork we'll have a massive correction. But before that people are just too greedy for free fork coins. BTC is also getting lots of media attention. So there's a lot of dumb money coming in. Unless some powerful countries come up with some really bad news like the ICO ban incident, I don't think a real correction would occur before the fork. That's just my take on it.
